Mac App Store · macOS 15+ · Swift · Metal

A fast Mac image viewer
for folders, RAW, and batch work.

On the Mac App Store. Point it at a folder of JPEGs or RAWs and it gets out of your way. New files show up in the sidebar on their own while you’re working. Compare two to four shots side by side. Batch rename or resize when you’re ready. SwiftUI up front, Metal behind the preview.

What it does

  • Metal rendering

Zoom anchors at the cursor. Trackpad pinch and drag stay smooth because the GPU does that work, not the CPU. A 50-megapixel RAW uploads in 20–50 ms.

  • 30+ RAW formats

Canon CR2/CR3, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW, Fuji RAF, Olympus ORF, Phase One IIQ, Hasselblad 3FR, and the long tail. If macOS hasn't caught up to your camera body, Lumeira reads the embedded JPEG preview every RAW ships with. You still see the photo.

  • Animated GIF, APNG, WebP

Animations play at the frame rate they were authored at. Small ones decode up front; bigger ones stream through a 5-frame ring buffer. The draw loop stops when the window isn't key, so nothing churns in the background.

  • Live folder watching

Drop a new file into the open folder and it shows up in the sidebar. Renames and Finder deletes reconcile too. Your scroll position stays where it was.

  • EXIF & histogram

Fly-out panel for camera, lens, exposure, dimensions. Optional RGB histogram sits over the image when you want it, vImage-accelerated so the viewport keeps up.

  • Compare & magnify

Two to four shots side by side, synchronized zoom and pan. Pick the keeper from a burst without leaving the viewer. The magnifier loupe drags anywhere you want a closer look.

  • Smart thumbnail sidebar

RAW and GIF badges on every thumbnail. Position indicator (47 / 312) above the strip. Auto-scroll only kicks in when the focused image leaves the visible band, and ⇧L pins the strip so it stops chasing you while you scout ahead.

  • Batch workflow

Rename with patterns, convert formats, or resize in bulk. The dialog shows a live preview before anything writes to disk.
